Motorin'
For Christmas this year, Mommy and Daddy traded in Larsson's old Jeep for a newer one.
With bigger tires.
And more power.

The new Jeep.

He is full speed ahead in his new wheels and lovin' every minute of it. Watch out for Larsson!

Technologist in the Making
Larsson picked out this laptop himself, and we were planning to wrap it up and put it under the Christmas tree. But... he keeps finding it and insisting on playing with it. And we give in. Well because, it's his laptop or mine or a complete meltdown scenario. So, after a couple weeks of this, we finally took it out of the box.

Isn't he adorable playing with his laptop while all bundled up in his carseat?
Thank goodness for things that keep him entertained in the car!

Back to Blogging
Forgive me, followers, for I have slacked. It has been nearly two weeks since my last post.
It has been a busy couple weeks....
- 2 ER visits for croup
- 1 Santa visit (will post photo once scanned)
- a little Christmas shopping
- a lot of work
We finally put up a tree this weekend. With 5 ornaments on it. Not sure where the bins of other decorations are.... But I think that may be just as well this year. Not sure we have the time to put it up and take it down. Plus there is the Larsson factor.
All in all, we are getting the holiday spirit and looking forward to ending the year on a high note.

The Mysterious Meow
Larsson LOVES the kitties that live down the street. In fact, many neighbors stop by to see these two cats that live on the front stoop a few doors down. They are big & fluffy. gray & white. lazy but friendly. And cuddle right up to you.
Even Justin doesn't mind these cats. And that's saying a lot. Because Justin is allergic and gets red eyes, sneezing fits, and a runny nose around cats. Which has caused him not to be a fan.
But Justin is willing to sacrifice for his son. He even said he would consider getting an outdoor cat for Larsson - especially if it was like one of the cats down the street.
So last week, when trying to get out the door, I heard a meow. I said, "Larsson, let's go outside and see the kitty before we go to school."
It didn't work. And a few minutes later, I looked out the window to see if he was nearby. No kitty in sight.
But all day long I would sporadically hear a meow. In different parts of the house. But no kitty in sight when I looked out the window.
I finally realized that the kitty must be trapped in our crawl space and informed Justin that he must check it out immediately.
So when Justin got home, he went to the crawl space and sure enough, there was a trapped kitty. And it was one of the kitties from down the street.
Glad we were able to set him free. Although, I am sure Larsson would have been happy for him to make his home here.

Dear Santa

Dear Santa,
Mommy said I am going to see you again soon. I have been a REALLY good boy this year.
I know we had our issues last year, but I'm willing to put it behind me. Do you think you could bring me this laptop for Christmas? And maybe a kitty.
Thanks Santa. See you soon!
Love,
Larsson

Little Einstein

So this is the Baby "King" wig for the Elvis costume. We thought it looked a little more Einstein but dyed black. And Larsson was not a big fan.

Trick Or Treat
Larsson loved trick or treat, although he didn't exactly get the concept. He wanted to eat the candy as he got it. He would take out a piece or two and try to open it. Notice the orange mouth :).

My Hunka Hunka Baby Love
Pre-Halloween costume testing (from a couple weeks ago). I guess it didn't go as great as we thought since we were unsuccessful in getting Larsson in his Elvis jumpsuit, wig and glasses complete with sideburns. I didn't expect him to keep on the wig and glasses, but didn't anticipate his rebelling against the jumpsuit. Oh well, guess there's next year!

Inaugural Neighborhood Halloween Parade
Neighbors dressed up themselves, their animals and/or their kids. The parade ended next door where Julia, Matt and Kes served donut holes and juice.

Mom and Dad Elvis pulled Buster Brown - who was supposed to be Baby Elvis in his jumpsuit glory but turned out pretty cute for a costume on the fly. Good fast thinking Dada!

Larsson as Buster Brown. He kept his newsboy hat on for the whole parade, but when it was play and snack time, all hats were off.

He found a new love of donuts. He shoved his fourth donut hole in his mouth as quickly as possible so it wouldn't be taken away from him.

He also loved the music and kept trying to sneak over to turn it up and do a little dance.

Happy Birthday PawPaw... Really.
For the second year in a row, we called and sang "Happy Birthday" to PawPaw... ON THE WRONG DAY! For some reason, Justin thinks PawPaw's birthday is October 17th. And now he's got me and Tater thinking it too. We tried to get others in on the joke to call PawPaw early. Without much success.
But alas, better early than never. And now, here we are - October 27th - PawPaw's birthday.
Hope it's a great one!
