As soon as we arrived, Larsson said, "Let's go team!" He was ready to get out of the car and give Santa his Christmas list.
We talked about visiting Santa prior to our little trip.
Me: Santa will want to know if you have been a good boy.
Larsson: My a good boy.
Me: What do you want to tell Santa you want for Christmas?
Larsson: TOYS!
Me: What kind of toys? Trucks?
Larsson: yea! and... and... a helicopter!
That was about all I got out of him. But thankfully that was not too greedy. Although he did continue.
Larsson: Let's go buy toys now.
Me: We have to wait for Christmas.
Larsson: But my have money. (pulling coins by the handful from the coin jar.)
Larsson did a GREAT job waiting for his turn to see Santa. He played and looked at trains and guns and fish. Then for the last 15 minutes of his wait, he laid down on the red carpet in front of Santa and propped his head up with one arm. He calmly stayed still (who knew that was possible?) and watched child after child take their turn talking to Santa. One of the employees saw Larsson, and said, I want a picture of that kid and reached into his pocket for his cell phone. I can't blame him. It was precious.
